Greenpath's prevention programs address all forms of drug abuse, including underage use of legal drugs( e.g., tobacco or alcohol): the use of illegal drugs (e.g., marijuana, heroin, cocaine, PCP etc..); and the inappropriate use of legally obtained substances(e.g., inhalants) prescription medications, or over-the-counter drugs. We target modifiable risk factors and strengthen identified protective factors.
We provide substance use treatment to both minors and adults. Ensuring appropriate evaluation tools are design to address the addiction suffered by the individual. All services offered at Greenpath are Outpatient programs
Substance Use/ Addiction Program: Greenpath substance use program works collaboratively with individuals, employer referrals, state and federal authorities to provide consumers with the support and educational opportunities necessary to successfully battle substance use and to build a healthy life equip with the necessary resources beyond addiction. Referrals are open to walk-ins, court-mandated individuals as well as juvenile justice system.
National Guard program: This is also an outpatient program geared towards assisting the National guard adult clients suffering from substance use and behavioral health issues. Greenpath utilizes the Substance Abuse Services Initiative (SASI) instruments. In addition, the program is short term based on self-pay and referrals come from the national guard office upon any of the guardsmen testing positive for illicit substances. Greenpath offers discounted rates while using instruments such as the Addiction Severity Index (ASI), Alcohol, Smoking and Substance Involvement Screening Test (Assist), and the Brief Intervention (BI). The program takes about 3weeks to 2 months to complete base of the level of need and the intensity of the assessment.
